Electrical Project Manager / Estimator
Role and Responsibilities:
- Complete all aspects of the bidding process; pre-bid attendance, measuring/take offs, review of plans and specifications, pre-site inspections, and preparation of complete bid package.
- Consults with municipal owners, architects, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effective cost reductions, and resolve issues.
- Gather first-hand information from vendors such as specification and submittal compliance, material manufacturing lead time, and freight.
- Studies specifications to assist the operations team in planning procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
- Works with the operations team throughout the pre-construction process in reviewing plans and specifications to identify potential conflicts/issues and determine project requirements.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and estimate costs of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to fulfill contract requirements.
- Compile detailed comparison analysis for all quotes/proposals received from Vendors and Subcontractors with consideration of payment terms, specification compliance, timely delivery, etc.
- Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Participate as a team in production alongside the Project Manager to give a team approach to the job.
- Must have ability to read, navigate, and understand all aspects of blueprints.
- Working knowledge of construction scopes and specification documents.
- Perform detailed take offs
- Create timely electrical estimates for proposals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Secure quotes from vendors in a timely manner.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting priorities.
- Prepares construction budget by studying building plans, updating specifications, identifying and projecting costs for each elevation.
- Evaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.
- Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials, identifying qualified subcontractors, negotiating price.
- Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information.
- Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Skills Needed:

I&E Superintendent (Construction)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Performs full time project site supervision to project completion, assist with project estimations as required (In Office)
- Implements schedules, assigns, and supervises all activities of the assigned project
- Report project specific information to the assigned project manager on a scheduled basis
- Reviews project labor requirements, assists with staffing requirements, sets priorities, and assigns work to be performed
- Ensures the occupational health and safety of assigned employees in accordance with state and federal regulations, departmental and District policies, as well as industry standards and practices

Electrical Foreman (Construction)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Performs full time project site supervision over assigned employees to project completion
- Assigns and supervises daily activities of the personnel under their direction
- The Foreman’s roll will be hands on, performing tasks with journeymen and apprentices to provide training and increased knowledge for intercompany growth
- Document daily progress for reporting

Journeyman Electrician (Construction)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.

Electrical Engineer
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems, based on customer requirements and your professional recommendation with little oversight.
- Provide assessments of existing electrical systems and recommendations to improve them.

Systems Integrator
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate alternative system solutions that meet stated requirements.

Project Coordinator I
Role and Responsibilities:
- Update schedule with percentage completion, active resources, onsite equipment, etc.
- Update project accruals based on material installed and work completed and provide recommendations to improve them.
- Compile all project time weekly to deliver to PM for approval. One the PM has approved, deliver to Office Manager.
- Take notes and update action tracker on items discussed in team meetings.
- Maintain action tracker to the utmost accuracy. This will give you insight as to what has been completed and what is remaining.
- Creating and maintaining the following project documentation: MDRs, transmittals, document delivery, project job books, operations manual and technical manuals.
- Project site setup (MS Teams/Sharepoint)- Responsible to create a MSTeams/Sharepoint site per project and maintain the communications between the team.
- Project procurement; material reqs, equipment reqs, shipping, receiving, vendor communications.
